Welcome to the WALK FOR AUTISM at the University of New England, PORTLAND, ME
Registration in Gymnasium begins at 11:00am - Walk Starts at 12:00 noon
The Walk route is approximately a one mile loop. You can go around two times for a two mile Walk!
The path is mostly paved, with some gravel path through the historic Evergreen Cemetary.

NOTE: At online registration site, you will be given the choice to purchase a Walk t-shirt for $6.00. T-shirts are pre-ordered, there will be no t-shirts available to purchase at the Walk event. Please call ASM if you will not be registering online (you will be registering in person at event) and want to pre-order a t-shirt: 1-800-273-5200.

The Walk for Autism is ASM's largest community and family event of the year. We have 5 Walks happening on the same day and start at the same time!
Bangor, Biddeford, Farmington, Fryeburg and Portland
Join us as we come together as a community in support of our loved ones with autism and in support of ASM to be a meaningful resource for individuals and families affected by autism and for the community they live in.
Bubbles wands will be given to the kids! NEW! Touchable Bubbles! (while supplies last)
Activities: Make your own bubble wand, giant bubble maker and corn hole game, facepainting stations, art stations, music / DJ
Meet Miss South Portland Maine for America - Her Platform is advocacy for deaf and special needs children.
ASM Autism Awareness Merchandise can be purchased at the ASM store table!
Food: Snacks and drinks! Hot dogs, popcorn, and other snacks will be available. A charitable donation to ASM is appreciated, but not required.
Vendors: State Farm Insurance
Raffles: $2.00 raffle tickets will be available for sale on the day of the Walk. Winners announced at approximately 11:45am. Various prizes and gift cards from local businesses to be raffled.
Fundraisers: State Farm Insurance of Freeport will be donating $10 for every quote given in their "Quotes for Good" campaign to benefit ASM.
We have invited local Police Officers, Firemen and First Responders to join us if they are not out for an emergency.
This is the perfect time to let children get close to, and familiarize with first responders in uniform and also check out their vehicles!
The Walk for Autism will Happen Rain or Shine! It's springtime so be prepared for changing weather!
Registration and vendors will in the gymnasium.
Note: Dogs will be allowed at the Walk site, however please do not bring them inside the gymnasium.
