This Giving Tuesday, we are joining this campaign in support for individuals with autism to live quality, meaningful, and happy lives within their communities. Please think of making a donation to ASM on this global day of giving!
The COVID-19 pandemic has created immeasurable challenges for the autism community through therapy and program interruptions, lack of respite for caregivers and families. ASM has stayed open and available for support throughout this time.

Facebook is matching 100% of donations made (only on facebook) up to $2million and then 10% of donations until they have reached another $5million. Donation matching starts at 8am and the earlier the better chance for a full $ match to ASM! ASM's Facebook Giving Tuesday Fundraiser

- Provide programs and services that advance an individual's and their family's quality of life.
- Advocate and increase awareness at local, state and national levels to improve services, and strengthen protections.
- Provide information and referral services and outreach efforts.
- Create learning and networking opportunites for parents, professionals and the community.
At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.
We all have gifts to give and can show generosity and kindness in a variety of ways during GivingTuesday. "Spectrum of Opportunity” Challenge!
This Giving Tuesday, the Autism Society of America encourages everyone to get involved through generosity, giving, and spreading awareness. In an effort to engage potential donors through virtual fundraising with a 100X Challenge, a peer-to-peer fundraising challenge that asks donors to:
- Host a virtual fundraiser on Facebook or platform of your choosing for Autism Society Maine
- Raise $100+
- Challenge 3 friends to do the same, continuing the cycle
The Autism Society of Maine has supported people with autism and their families through webinars, online platforms, emails, phone calls and advocacy initiatives since the pandemic began; our organization hopes to raise $1,500 during Giving Tuesday, to continue support efforts.
